Standards

Workmanship standards.

Non‑negotiables. Prep, protection, and acceptance criteria.

Substrate prep

Base before finish.

  • Substrates assessed and made suitable before finishes land.
  • Moisture/flatness/adhesion risks addressed first.
  • Required primers/levellers/membranes used where applicable.
  • Concealed work photographed before close-in.
Protection

Protect finished work.

  • Finished surfaces protected immediately after install.
  • Traffic paths defined and enforced.
  • Staging/storage controlled — no pile-ups on finished zones.
  • Daily reset keeps the site readable and safe.
Dust / noise

Containment discipline.

  • Containment used where migration matters.
  • Cutting/grinding managed, not improvised.
  • Noise windows respected in occupied buildings.
  • Cleanup and wipe-down treated as production, not afterthought.
Acceptance criteria

What “done” means.

  • Inspection in normal lighting at practical viewing distance.
  • Punch items documented and tracked to closure.
  • Turnover includes cleanup, protection removal, documented handoff.
  • Closeout is planned — not negotiated at the end.
