Project 06

Remote / lakefront build.

Operational record. Remote build executed under access, staging, and weather/logistics constraints.

Context

Remote site conditions required front-loaded planning: access, staging, storage, and sequencing decisions made before mobilization.

Scope
  • Site logistics plan (deliveries, laydown, storage, protection).
  • Build sequence structured to minimize remobilization and wasted trips.
  • Closeout packaging aligned to remote turnover realities.
Constraints
  • Access limitations (roads, ferries, seasonal conditions) and delivery scheduling.
  • Material storage and protection on site; theft/weather considerations.
  • Trade availability and scheduling compression due to travel time.
Duration

Sequenced to lock critical path early (structure → envelope → rough-ins → interior). Remobilization was treated as a cost/schedule risk and minimized.

Mid-build changes
  • Weather-driven resequencing — documented and executed to protect work-in-place.
  • Client selection change — treated as a controlled change with procurement impacts logged.
Final outcome

Project closed with stable performance and documented handover despite remote constraints; system checks and deficiencies resolved prior to final turnover.
